I do not care what car you drive. How you were raised and where you live. If you know someone who knows someone who I’m not freaking familiar with. If your clothes are this year’s cutting edge. If your trust fund is unlimited. If you are an A-lister, a B-lister or an I’ve-never-heard-of-you-lister. I just don’t care. I only care about the words that flutter from your mind. Those are the only things you truly own. The only thing I will remember you by. I will not love you for your smile. I will not love you for your charm. I will not fall in love with your bones and skin. I will not fall in love with the places you have been to. I will not fall in love with anything but the words that flutter in your extraordinary mind.

So we’ll fight. Big deal. We’ll fight until we both give up. Fight until we both cry.
